General Information
Sculptures by Nancy Jorine Brown are produced by the ancient
"lost wax" process which involves the pouring of molten bronze. Each
sculpture is an original, limited edition piece, signed by the artist and
numbered; they are not reproductions or copies made in Mexico or overseas.
All sculptures are cast at the Maiden Foundry in Sandy, Oregon, known
nation-wide for its quality work. There is no mass production here; each step
in the casting process is meticulously done by hand by skilled artisans,
making each sculpture unique. Each is heirloom quality, worthy of being
passed down from generation to generation. Please do not confuse these
genuine "lost wax" bronzes with "cold cast bronze" which in reality is
powdered metal mixed with resins.
