The galloping Arabian stallion is captured in mid-stride, supported by a single hind foot. Great care was taken to achieve the proper elevation of the forehand and just the right degree of inclination as the horse runs in a sweeping turn to the right. The resulting sculpture seems ready to race from its base. Flying mane and plumed tail contribute to the overall sense of energy and motion. Every viewing angle is pleasing. |
